I saw an ad the other day for the first annual Adrian Peterson celebrity golf tournament to benefit the All Day foundation. The funds will help support the Boys and Girls club and Special Olympics Minnesota – all good causes! I think it is great that such a young guy is jumping feet first into this community, what a great example for others! Professional athletes have such an opportunity to influence society (both negatively and positively), it is good to see Adrian Peterson putting his fame to good use. The best part of the event? I heard about this on KFAN this morning! It sounds like a lot of fun, and I'm glad that he's setting such a good example when he's still so new to the NFL.
