Well, the inevitable happened. The Green Bay Packers defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers 31-25 to capture the Lombardi Trophy. As a Minnesota Vikings fan, this one burns deep. I have been raised as a purple and gold guy so to see the green and gold win this, it just simply hurts. Aaron Rodgers played a flawless game, throwing for 304 yards and 3 touchdowns. He was named the MVP. Ben Roethlisberger had the ball with 2 minutes left, down 6, but wasn't able to mount the comeback. Congratulations to the Green Bay Packers, you earned it.

Green Bay Packers Win Super Bowl XLV
Well, the inevitable happened. The Green Bay Packers defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers 31-25 to capture the Lombardi Trophy. As a Minnesota Vikings fan, this one burns deep. Yes they earned it, but I 'd still would have rather seen purple and yellow on that field. :)
