Former Viking Donovan McNabb plans to continue playing in the NFL

For a lot of Vikings fans, last year's quarterback, Donovan McNabb, was more than a bit of a let down. His record was strong - he was second overall pick in 1999 and he played for the Philadelphia Eagles for 10 years.

But last year the Vikings benched him for a rookie, not a particularly good sign, and let him go at the end of the season. But McNabb says he's excited to be a free agent because he'll get to choose which team to play for. You have to admire that kind of optimism in a guy who hasn't gotten any offers for next year. He's promised to continue playing in the NFL. I'll cross my fingers.

What are you thinking about McNabb and the career he insists he will continue?
