Again, Nothing Too Surprising about Vikings Loss to the Lions

Again, not like I'm surprised but the Vikings lost to the Lions, but still wanted to quickly blog about it.

The Vikings first game of the season was against the Detroit Lions at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan. Maybe it was the away game, maybe because they're not warmed up yet, maybe another outside source was the reason they lost. Whatever.

The Vikings started out strong with Adrian Peterson as he ran for a 78-yard TD on his first carry and scored on a 4-yard run to give Minnesota a 14-6 lead in the second quarter. He finished with 93 yards on 18 attempts. Lions pulled ahead later with a 34-24 victory.
